Growing up in a small town I have always been proud to be from rural Saskatchewan. I knew from a young age that I would make my life around home and close to family.

The city wasn’t for me.

I have had an interest for fitness since growing up playing sports and being active. It wasn’t until I gained weight myself that the interest turned into a passion.  At first it started with the drive to lose weight, but soon became a realization that it was about so much more than the number on the scale. I want to help others find realization as well.

I come from a family of farmers and ranchers, and my husband comes from a family business that serviced farmers. It has been our life.

My husband and I, along with our daughter, live in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan.

SPRA Group Fitness Instructor
Personal Trainer PTA Global

Rural Fitness was created to bring fitness to small communities. It started with group fitness classes twice a week in three communities and has led to me getting my personal training certificate so I can cater to the busy individual as well.

I truly believe that rural Saskatchewan plays an important role in our province and I want to support our community members in their healthy lifestyles so we have productive, active people for years to come!
